zj.gifThe last week or so has seen a lot of people at work talking about new interactive agency Zeus Jones. If you haven’t heard about Zeus Jones, they’re a new group made up of former Fallon Worldwide employees.

I heard quite a few times that this is a group that truly gets it and I thought, “sure, it’s pretty cool what they’re doing, but it seems kind of random and pretty much something that anyone could do.”

It wasn’t until I ran across the presentation they recently gave at the Web 2.0 Expo (embedded below) that truly opened my eyes to how freakin’ genius their approach to self-promotion and brand building was and how sick it made me that I didn’t think of something so obvious.

Yes, anyone could have done what they did. That’s the point. They leveraged the tools and technologies of today’s web to introduce us to facets of Zeus Jones in a way that’s fresh and relevant to each platform that they use.

Some of their efforts seem pretty random and far-fetched, but there is a common thread, and (to quote Mark Logan) that thread is “Zeus Jones understands the digital media landscape and can innovate within it.”

Take some time to absorb and learn from these sickeningly smart people. Hrmph. :)
