Kansas City, Here I come!
There’s been a little something I’ve been sitting on for months… heck, almost a year or more depending on how you look at it.
We’re going back to Kansas City!
This has been a subject that Robin and I have been kicking around for a very long time (as long as she’s been in law school in fact), and the decision was 100% made around Thanksgiving or so that we would definitely be moving back to Kansas City so that she can practice law in Missouri upon graduation in May.
I tendered my resignation with Skyline Media Group today and will be leaving on March 8. That way, when Robin graduates in May she’ll move straight into an organized home in which to study for the Missouri Bar without worrying about where to put the dishes in the kitchen, etc. (even though I’m sure she’ll still do that)
This was a weighty decision to be sure, but it’s one that we both wholeheartedly agree is best and are both very excited about. I’ll miss the friends I’ve made at Skyline, but hey, isn’t that what IM sessions and road trips to new cities are for?
So, what’s next for me you might ask? Well, I finished the negotiations on that today and will speak more about that when I know it’s cool to do so.
OK, fine… I’m going to work at Gates BBQ.
